Christina Green and Hayley Anderson have performed together in a range of musical contexts since 2015. This has included many performances with the No Excuses! Choir/Band, performing the No Excuses! Choral Suite composed by Green and composer/conductor Kathleen McGuire, working with women’s stories of family violence, in 2015-2016 under the auspices of the School of Hard Knocks. Highlights include performances at BMW Edge/Federation Square, Ulumbarra Theatre, Bendigo, Melbourne Recital Centre and Australian Catholic University. Duo performance highlights (performing Green’s contemporary folk songs and instrumentals) include appearances at The Wesley Anne, Northcote and the Blue Bean Love Café, Hepburn Springs. Green and Anderson also worked with a larger ensemble for the pre-launch and launch of Green’s 2017 double CD Some Days/Life I Can Live, with shows at PAVE Festival, Emerald, the Skylark Room, Upwey, and the Lomond Hotel, East Brunswick.
